Im leaving for vacation next Monday and i got my kitty one of those automatic feeders i set it up for the week to see if it last but he wants the wet food and not the dry food i have set up. he keeps purring and meowing so i played with him but then he started scratching at the cabinet where i keep the wet food. What should i do??

I bought my cat a water fountain thinking he'd drink out of it and I want him drinking more in general. So far I've had it for two hours and he hasn't looked very interested in it yet. How and when will I know if he likes it or not?

My parents bought this new cat water fountain for our cats to help them drink more water. However, I haven't seen them drink out of it and I'm worried they aren't getting enough water. Yes, the water does go down and we have to fill it but the water is near a few windows where the sun is so I'm wondering if the water is just being evaporated. So how can I tell? Sometimes I even wonder if they even LIKE the cat water fountain.
